two Shamans in one place

My roommate Amalie introduced me to her friend Steen via the internet a couple months ago. She figured we would get along because we have the same "weird" ideas about the inner workings of the universe, etc. Steen is a Shaman who studies the works of Carlos Castaneda, and when he visited this week for spring break, Steen and I took a trip into the magical forrest (the forrest I found the first time I experienced "living in the moment" on a bike ride). I couldn't even tell you where we were inside this forrest, but we just kept taking the paths that felt right. Eventually we found this beautiful area with lots of small bridges and canals. There was a steep set of stairs that looked like the ascension to somewhere magnificent. When we got to the top of the stairs, we realized that it didn't really lead to anywhere, only more magical forrest. This spot was perfect. We sat and meditated for over two hours.
I know it's not very Shaman-istic to take a picture, since picture-taking is NOT living in the moment, but I couldn't help myself. Steen had no idea I took this one picture, and I think it is awe-some.
